Unfortunately I don't know. I do know if you sign into the Fortinet support site there is an area where you can download all older versions. You might also be able to contact their support for the latest version that would work on WinXP.

I was actually just thinking that was important. It looks like the issue cropped up around the time I updated to 5.2.3. Looking at the release notes.. the web doesn't support XP but the forticlient still does.. (assuming the installer is 2312) which i have no clue what version that means....
From the following link ( =97349) I see that version 4.4.2303 (the next one up) was available for versions 4.3.16 and 5.2.0. Since this version works for both, try moving to that. You'll more than likely find it under the downloads for the firmware versions posted.
This software is no longer available for the download. This could be due to the program being discontinued, having a security issue or for other reasons.
Set Type to Shared. Sharedshapers affect upload speeds, Reverse shapers affect download speeds, and Per IP shapers affect both upload and download speeds simultaneously.
Under Apply Shaper, set the Outgoing Interface to match your Internet Access policy and enable Shared Shaper and Reverse Shaper. Shared Shapers affect upload speeds and reverse shapers affect download speeds. Set both shapers to high-priority. 153554b96e
